How much does it cost?

Typically, shingle rejuvenation costs 15% of the cost of replacement. An average cost of roof replacement in 2020 was $10,000 compared to only $1,500 to rejuvenate.

How do I know if my shingles need rejuvenation?

Typically shingles that are ten years old start to show signs of ageing, granular loss and could use rejuvenation before they start to curl up and become brittle.

Is the product safe?

The product is made with 90% bio-based natural food grade oils. It is safe, easily washed off with water, but like water in a flood it's not 100% safe but is safe around pets, plants and people.

Will the treatment seal my roof leaks?

No it will not. Our treatment extends the life of your roof shingles by stopping the oxidation and replenishing the oils inside the shingles which restores the flexibility and strength, similar to what a new shingle would be like. Any previous leaks will need to be fixed before treatment.

Does the treatment change the color of the shingles?

Yes, the color of the shingles will darken, similar to what it was like when new. Within a couple of years the shingles will start to lighten up as the surface oils begin to oxidize off.

Does this help with moss and algae growing on my roof?

We suggest cleaning the roof first, then rejuvenating your shingles with us. Any moss or algae left will be smothered and killed. It definitely helps

What does the warranty cover?

Our five year prorated warranty covers the fact that the product will extend the life of the shingle five years past the expected life of the shingle in the environment they are in. Some owners want to stop the aging process on older shingles, so depending on how old they are we may not be able to warranty a shingle that is starting to show signs of extreme aging, like when the shingles are starting to curl up. The warranty is transferable to the next homeowner.

How long this the treatment take

Typically it takes about 2 hours from start to finish. Of course the size of your roof and the amount of work that needs to be done may vary.

Is it worth doing the treatment before I sell my house?

Most definitely. There is a huge amount of real estate deals that fall apart because of a bad roof. The buyer will typically hire a home inspector to inspect the home before purchasing it. If your roof is old the inspector is going to let the buyers know. In which case their going to ask you to change it or get credit for replacement. With our treatment most of the time it passes with flying colors. We also give a 5 year warranty that is transferrable to the new homeowner.

What are the weather requirements for treatment?

We can not complete the treatment on rainy days as well as under high wind conditions. If it so happens that one of these conditions fall under your scheduled day, we will reschedule you on the next available day.
